R290 refrigerant gas in the new generation Genia Air Max

With a long history in the manufacture and development of HVAC products, Saunier Duval reinvents the heat pump sector with a highly innovative product, extremely efficient and breaking long-established standards with this technology.

Aware of environmental goals and in favor of protecting our planet, Saunier Duval introduces R290 natural gas, with clear advantages over current refrigerants, mainly from an ecological point of view, lowering GWP (Global Warming Potential) values to an insignificant value of 3.

From a technical point of view, R290 breaks yet another barrier, reaching temperatures in the forward flow of up to 75 ºC in heating and 70 ºC in the production of DHW, by accumulation and without the use of electrical resistance. This way we guarantee greater comfort in the use of domestic hot water and, on the other hand, the need to use external support to activate the anti-legionella protection is eliminated.

The innovation and quality of the Genia Air Max is also visible in the noise level, which in the silent mode version produces only up to 46 dB(A) at 0 meters away, and this value drops to 26 dB(A) at 3 meters from distance. That is, completely inaudible.

All these extraordinary features were not possible without high efficiency, with any Genia Air Max model having an energy rating of A+++, to the A7W35 standard (A+++ - D), and SCOP values ​​up to 6.5 (hot weather).
